Ricardo Sousa, MD, PhD

Specialist in Knee Injuries and the treatment of Osteoarticular Infections, team coordinator and responsible for the surgical approach.

Miguel Abreu, MD

Infectious disease specialist, responsible for interpreting microbiological diagnoses and optimizing antibiotic therapy.

Practical Update Course On Orthopedic Infection

On the 12th and 13th of December 2025, the city of Porto will host a unique meeting between Orthopaedics and Infectious Disease professionals.

Over two days, the course will bring together more than 150 specialists from the fields of Orthopaedics and Infectious Diseases in a multidisciplinary environment focused on clinical reality and the challenges of everyday practice.
